As is, it is just not corporate prepared…and I have been pondering and pondering on how you can make it work for my lifestyle. I’ve religiously visited the costume on model.com. I’ve printed out footage to try to capture all of the details, in addition to, the essence of the dress. I lastly got the “shiny” idea to go to the Ferragamo website and watch the dress move and see bigger photos of it.
After watching the video for the third or fourth time, I lastly came up with an idea on how to include the very best options of the gown…which to me are the supplice neckline…just not as deep as the unique. The wrapped skirt but not with the slit up to gloryland (can I still call it that since it isn’t as a lot a destination because it as soon as was…*LOL*) and naturally the houndstooth fabric.
So this is what I got here up with…
I can use my TNT dress pattern to begin with based mostly upon this costume that I made back in June 2007.
Hopefully with all my pattern alteration books, I can determine methods to make the draped panel on the front, which I am utilizing instead of the slitted entrance skirt. I discovered a silk twill from Fabric Mart that I will use for this costume…
In watching the video on the Ferragamo site, I now notice that the unique gown is made from a midwt silk houndstooth…kind of like the one I used in the Dries van Noten ferragamo lionel loafer free shipping combined fabrications gown. My fabric is drapier and lighter however I think this may work better for me. I’m also considering of including a black waistband instead of constructing it all out of the houndstooth and I’ve been going back and forth over whether or not or not to add piping at the neckline.
I do know that this is altering the designer’s imaginative and prescient but I am calling this collection of dresses designer impressed. I just assume without all of the pores and skin showing, I will end up looking like one massive blackandwhite verify…there must be some definition there.
